Orion's CPU core will perform about the same as other Cortex A9 based processors. The most interesting aspect of Orion is its GPU - Samsung claims it is up to 5 times faster than Hummingbird, which is already the fastest on the market! If this is true, Samsung will again have the fastest GPU on the market amongst Cortex A9 based processors (well, at least according to this article)!
Here's a good article for Samsung Orion, if yo want to know a bit more details on this processor:

Apple? OMG, chocolate mouse! (goose) what kind of bananna calls his company "Apple" anyway? I mean lets face it we all seen the looney bin Jobs and his lifestyle, well good for you all you sheep, keep comercializing Apple shit until we all wear nothing but white and walk around hailing "hail Galaxar"! then again, sheep will be sheep they dont have their own thoughts.
Give us our Android and WP7 devices with this beasted CPU long before "Crapple" gets their white clean paws on it!
Hail Galaxar!

Dual core chip for mobile...that's cool...advance technology is always welcome...
Samsung, can you coordinate with Intel to let your processors do Hyper Threading...
We are technology hungry :)

I guess the most interesting development is not about this Dual Core itself, but rather, the technology that makes energy efficiency to power these processors for mobile phones ...... or not?

Nope battery life is not the concern. The popular Samsung WAVE is also using the ARM Cortex A8 @ 1Ghz clock speed, and it don't have any battery life issue at all. Further more it perform even faster than it rival iPad and iPhone.
Great to hear that it's going for dual core.
Keep going SAMSUNG.

When we will see a Nokia tablet or a smartphone with a Arm Cortex A9 MPCore in near future, tell me. Nor here a year!

When i read that I got rare feeling that I have already read that and what was written was about 5 years ago. Some sentimental feeling that this dual core WAS just a beginning to evolutionary change ... :P lol

I really like what Samsung and LG are doing, along with Sharp and Toshiba supply the whole world with components but they don't sell second-grade components so that they can be ahead, but promote fair competition by giving the best components to rival companies such as Apple and the like.
