AnonD-383472, 03 Jul 2016They should scrap the ugly tile based interface next Its not a ugly interface. IN FACT its the only operating system out there that was designed by.........graphic designers. The OS is by far the most attractive one on the market currently and has all the functionality of Android and far more functionality then iOS.

Oh! BlackBerry 10 smartphones have lift to wake.
Just lift your phone and it wakes up.No double tapping.

They hesitated to add double-tap? Should just add knock code and problem solved. So much things can be done, like f.ex. something similar to force touch hw/sw ver....should do so even sooner.

this is another example of how nokia was way ahead of its time.. Microsoft, the current owner of previous nokia smartphone division is only implementing double tap to wake feature many months after release of its current flagship.

Mostly Lumia and i have 730 already have this feature ..... and top flagship 950 now getting this feature ....!!
dont know why they launch this phone @ huge price ... worst OS...Windows OS and their feature.....!!

Double tap to wake up and and now even if you double tap on navigation bar phone screen will be turn off.

Anonymous, 02 Jul 2016I think 950 was designed to unlock screen only with power k... moreif u think so .. it does not happen my brodr ... while in pocket it just ceactivatres its sensor to wake it up....

great to hear..that double tap feature is back..iam sure Microsoft took time coz most windows phones with nokia branding had this feature but after micosoft branding came it ...Microsoft had some patent issue coz patents are owned by Nokia..iam happy with my Lumia 950 and latest redstone update is working great..and double tap is back yeah
