          How does that work? Windows already has this. Even the same slider. I guess Microsoft didn't patent it thinking it was a no brainer.

Lol"Mind you, the scope of the patents covers the design of the features - it doesn't mean that other manufacturers can't make their own multi-window or 3D Touch-like implementation, just need to be careful on the "shape, configuration, pattern and/or ornament" of their designs."

                            So, the answer is no. Multi-window is a universal concept that cannot be patent. It just the design and features that is patented.
