AnonD-551020, 05 Jul 2016There's no excuse for ignorance at any level. Most celebrit... morewho knows, maybe now they will... and btw... we're all ignorant about sumthing so ur phrase "There's no excuse for ignorance at any level" it's really wrong

getting back to the topic... i wasn't defending the celebs as much as i was trying to not generalize that every one of them made the same mistake, the damage is still done no matter the circumstances and the culprit got what the law demanded (although i think it should've been tougher)

Most celebrities have money, so the same way they hire people to manage their finances and other aspects of their lives like body guards, the same way they should be hiring IT geeks to be helping them with information on how to go about with such things.

Anonymous, 05 Jul 2016Google needs to hire guys like this "phishing" is the most basic hacking scheme, there's no need brains for this.

anythinh online is vulnerable to hacking and phishing..i can't see why people bother to load up personal photos to cloud...just get a hard disk..and these google and iphones people should probably not keep theor phones to sync with the cloud by default...
in other related topic..this became a news because celebs were involved..thousands of accounts are being exploited and nooone cares...and as a rule its MMO accounts, and business that get hacked more often than these could storages

5 years is too little for these neckbeard scumbags. Maybe 10 years of prison and some heavy fines would be nice

mir, 05 Jul 2016Do you realise that most normal people actually aren't real... moreYes normal people are not into tech . Indeed , that is right. But on the other hand , normal people have less risk of getting hacked and low risk even if they are hacked ( I mean , who would want to see the pics of you neighbor unless she is really really hot 😛)
Celebs ( the famous ones anyway) on the other hand are prone to such stuff. They must be extra cautious and double check on everything.

So basically: "Hi me celebrity :) me dumb me give you password :)" is how it went? Then there's retards claiming they deserve what they have? lmao, if at least they were talented to make up for it.

Anyway that's seriously too much noise for a bunch of idiots who screwed themselves, if they weren't "celebrities" no one would care..
