    Davide:

The problem is that your phone have got very limited memory avalaible for Opera Mini to use. It has only got max 64 kB avaliable for each Java application. So when you want better quality pictures, you phone doesnt have enought memory to store them for the java app.

Your phone has got around 480 kb shared between pictures, MMS and java aplications. Check if you have many MMSes or pictures stored on your phone. Maybe deleting stored pictures / MMSes will free some memory for Opera Mini.

I think this version of opera is good. It works with my phone which is a samsung D600. The connection speed is good. It is a Java based programme and the interface is well thought of. The only problem here is that there is yet no option for saving web pages. You have to send your HTML infor each time you browse the same page hence attracting some charges. In Nigerian MTN Network, A kilobyte of web page is 75 kobo. I think Opera mini version 2 is the best browsing software made availabe to man for free in the whole mobile world at the month!

nick with the t809. alot of handsets made for US companies have security settings to prevent users from using java apps like opera.

Yes, opera mini does work with the 6230i. however, the connection setting on Nokia Series 40 phes needs some special attention. Read this thread at the Opera forum to calrify how to set up the phone to make use of Opera Mini:

              http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=114252

Also, i've heard something about 6320i with old firmware not wroking proparly. You need firmware version 3.62 or newer to make it work.

                  mitsarakos:

Forget about viruses. The internett pages that you surf on will go throuh some huge computers that compress the web pages and transfers them to your mobile. So any viruses out there will never be transferred to your mobile. Anyway, no viruses found on the net can harm you mobile. The viurses can only harm your desktop computer!

I have used the browser a lot, checking my webmail and everything, and it is all safe. I do not use Opera Mini for accessing my internett bank, though.

I downloaded opera onto my w600i and love it. It runs fast and allows me to view any page my heart desires. Just as a test and much to my girlfriends dislike I used it too load the girls gone wild web page and it all worked as if I was on the page itself. All the banners and pictures come up. I dont know how secure this browser is overall but I do recommend it.

                        Arshad:

It is not a trial version, it is entirly free. No adds, nothing...

If you get the browser sent via SMS it will cost a bit since the SMS consts a bit. If you download it yourself, it is free..!

I downloaded this software on my K700i a few days ago before GSM arena ran the story and I was very impressed the moment I ran the program. I am a former user of the UIQ Opera browser on the SE P900 and I have to say the mini browser is every bit as good as the full scale for smartphones. I was even able to log onto myspace! There is no better proxy than Opera's; the speed is unbelievable for GPRS connectivity.

I have a dealer line so the t-mobile web comes with my plan. I tried using the opera mini but it came up with an error message saying i had to fix the WAP or something like that. Does anyone know how to get this software to work on a razr?

Hello Im form Argentina, on my last vacations to Punta del Este Uruguay I tried the previous version of the browser on my V300. I got really pleased as it loads incredibly fast and its very stable, even if U recieve calls or sms during the navigation. The menues where very friendly and the interfase in all allowed a fast speed of browsing. I was able to check my mail and even my work mail which uses a Microsoft Exchange server. Summing up its a great browser and I cant wait to try the new version.
