People do have preferences, as without Apple, the almighty brand would still refuse to release (3G) touchscreen phones.

Oh no, they don'... moreDohohoho, slaps me on the knee!
Seriously, your argument all goes down the drain the moment you called the Milestone "a piece of junk", when you don't have any proof of its technical inferiority against the iPhone.
Cold hard facts man, most Android phones have better hardware and software than the iFad: screen display, camera, SD card slot, physical keyboard, the whole Android OS.

Out of 100 friends/relatives/colleagues i only know 2 girls that have the iPhone, most of them rest choose to use smartphones like Nokia E-series and various HTC models.
Most iPhone users are social posers and productive wannabes. They need people to see that Apple logo. They talk about apps to let people know that they have a Apple product and fit into that whole social wannabe poser circle.

[deleted post]So... we're arguing about versions of the same phone, suddenly? Well even if I made a mistake in interchanging the Droid with the Milestone, the two are nearly identical in specifications.
iPhone still loses out either way. Isn't that our main point of contention here? Or are we still gonna talk about GSM vs. CDMA?

It just tells that the Droid is a CDMA-capable version of the same phone. No drastic changes in hardware or anything.

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2010Droid™ is the name licensed from Lucas Arts by Verizon used... moreWhat huge difference does it make, anyway? They're basically two identical phones save for the frequencies they operate on. CDMA vs. GSM is just one factor out of many others, and does not invalidate my claim of the Droid/Milestone being superior to the iPhone, hardware and software-wise.
If I had made a drastic change in comparison, let's say from a Droid to a Nexus One, then I would be in the wrong. But the fact is the only differences between the Droid and Milestone are minimal, and even frequency types don't translate to a major advantage by Apple.

After doing alot of sales investigating and having a user profile poll vote a very famous american TV/radio personality once said "Apples Iphone are for fruitcakes, wannabes, women with chihuahua, posers and 14 year old highschool girls"
Probably the best comment i have ever heard. Spot oN! That even goes for the profile here in Sweden, without a doubt.
