Meizu's upcoming MX6 smartphone to cost around $300

The revelation was made by co-founder Bai Yongxiang in a Weibo post where-in he also said that the MX6 will be one of the best designed phones in the $300 category.

Ok, i'm glad to see that more and more decent mid-rangers with 4GB and AMOLED screens keep showing up...

hopefully, we'll see more 4K amoled ones.

    Helio X20 lol...i mean it's not a bad chip but it's not dev friendly, mediatek doesn't release sources etc so there won't be rom's, kernels etc As a consequence, there won't be much talk about it in the forums, that would help sales...

    I already know i'm not gonna buy it, just knowing it'll have MTK inside, even if it's a awesome phone.

            Androids makers nowadays are fighting with each other, with bloody noses. Screaming "iPhone & Apple" is evil! is bad! no innovation! the NEXT iPhone killer! Yet after so many years, they still couldn't surpass it, and still have to fight with price point Hahahaa.

              I think Meizu MX 6 its better than PRO 6 cause he says many feature on PRO 6 will added on MX 6 + 4000 mah.

                        Too expensive considering that it's only running Android. A fair price for this would be between $130 and $160. Anything more than that is unjustified.
