Sony Xperia E5 battery life test

08 July, 2016
What good is a smartphone if you have to charge it every six hours or so? That's why the last couple of years phone makers have been trying to hit the right balance between potent specifications and acceptable battery life. In the case of the Sony Xperia E5, the company's credo is "more battery equals a happy customer."

the company's credo is "more battery equals a happy customer." I guess this is backfiring for Sony.

            I love Sony.

Just stay away from this... Anything under 60 hours endurance is a joke.

Wtf so sad Sony you were the best and now dead

I have the C4 and the battery life is crap. Sure, it has a big screen, but don't put a claim of x days of battery life when in reality you have to turn most of the features off (Stamina mode) to achieve even a day's worth.

Sony used to be Samsung and LG rival.

                        Terrible result.

                        "5 / 720p / Cortex-A53

With a 2700 mAh, it should hitting over 70h or more. The Xperia Z3 Compact had only a 2600 but powered a Snapdragon 801 and the scores were phenomenal at 14-15 hrs for video and web. This should be getting 10-11 hrs for video and web as the bare minimum. Either the test is off or terrible optimizations by Sony. Very disappointing.

Did they say that caption "2 days battery life" this time?
Whats happening to Sony look what they achieved with T2 Ultra,E3, Z2, Z3, Z3C, and look what they are doing now :/
                          Did they lost their mind?
After all these years, when they scored great in camera results worth X and X performance. They lost it in rest of the area!!

Wow, how did they manage to discharge 2.7 amps within hour using just a 5 inch LCD and a low performance chipset?! THAT is a feat of engineering, although not a wanted one.
