Anonymous, 13 Sep 2010so your angry at SE and Nokia? if they arn't doing anything... moreYou do realise you are in terroitory of the casual phone fan, who really don't give two flying tosses about android/apple/WP7 or any of the American companies that are big talk for you, but (excluding Apple) are very small talk and still unkown to the rest of the world and the casual user.
What Nokia tends to do is let leaks happen and despite not being always the first to implement things, is doing it's own OS on it's own along with another with Intel Moorestown. Plus what it does, it does better than 98% of most phones and nt brag about it either, unlike the hyperbole for Android and Apple, inferiority complexes running within even as they claim they will be second to number 1, it ain't happened yet.
The top selling handsets for Samsung and Moto are, as you say, Android, but outside the shell there is relatively little that is on offer tht hasn't been done before, Android is the most overhyped OS ever and you'll have to accept the fact it isn't everyone's cup of tea but to a few geeks.
Plus, only Apple and Motorola makes thier own hardware, only of which the former excels and the latter doesn't. we haven't seen any other of the big American giants make thier own hardware and claim it as thier own with the software, until they do, you can't say they've done much either.
