Since dec 2015, I changed to dlink dir 395, this set is superb in its wifi signals.
In Feb 2016, I bought a Asus zenfone 2 laser 601KL, I could not update the OS to 6.0 due to FOTA error. I am not keen to send it to check by service centre.
Thus, many people say Asus has quality products. How is this so when I have these 2 problems from Asus products? Maybe these people were offered sugar water to sweet talk on Asus. I am not keen to buy this series 3 phone, wait for early guinea pigs to try out and then tell us their experience.

JY, 12 Jul 2016Is zenphone 3 deluxe even launched already?? None of the ZF3 lineups and variants are available in the market yet.
Most likely, it will be released or available 1st Week of August.
ASUS has the habit of announcing it too early and release for sales are only available 1 month after the announcement.

They keep announcing these zenfone 3 devices that are frankly, very cool looking but until now, none of them are actually available for sale. This is one of the mistakes of sony. Being too late to the market every single time.

My Zenfone 2 is quite reasonable as far as performance is concerned. Have it a year with 1 minor power issue which was immediately repaired at minimal cost.

the quality of zenfone products r poor. my zen2 has been to service center twice. the service center is a pain. then there is no software update for previous owners. i have the zenfone 2 delux which is still on 5.0. they refused to give even 5.1. i feel so cheated. then their is their claustrophobic UI. every time hundreds of updates for the bloatware. the ram avaliable when the phone is restarted is harldy 1.5gb. what is the use of 4gb ram when u have to restart every 3rd app in background. the dialer takes 3 seconds to open up. i regret buying asus product and remember u will never get any software update for zen3 after 6.0. learn from one plus. the same place where zenfone 2 is serviced one plus is also done in my area. hardly any one+ phones and their service department doesnt crib and find faults in the phone to charge u under warranty. 9 out of 10 phones r zenfones with sim tray faults, screen broken with minor drops and internal speaker faulty problems. ......from a frustrated zenfone owner. do not go for this piece of shit. the qualty of theirproduct is extremely poor internally. go for a one plus or any cheap phones of htc samsung lg or sony. infact lenovo is better than this.

The 6 being more so than 2. My biggest regret in recent times ever buying those for two people who are now very cross with me for suggesting those based on their budgets at the time. Never again.
Thankfully I managed to swap the Zenfone 6 with a Note 2 and she is very happy now, that's how bad the Zenfone 6 was. If she would let me I would take a hammer and smash it to bits just for pure satisfaction from all the frustrations of ever buying it for her. How can it not be that bad eh? it was powered by Intel, figures. The Zenfone 2 is just lipstick on a piq, little better but still awful. I think I will try to replace that one with a Note 3 when I can find one for cheap. Another Intel throw away. Atleast ASUS did one thing right, dump Intel.
I might still try ASUS again one day but they need to prove it and like I said their camera app is just terrible at the moment.
