We both know that's not the case. Bezels are needed to hold the phone properly, but too big bezels (as in every Sony smartphone) are simply ugly. Same as iPhone's.

Sony, how about combining the XA, z2, c5 ultra and z3 compact design for some change? But make sure the bezels are 50-60% lesser than those on the pictures which makes it a lot ugly. Put the finger print on the back or lower front bezel. Design is amazing but those bezels, are scars from what I can see

What!!! Noo!!! I was to choose this over iphone 7 pro and note 7 but with those bezels, I am sticking with X Performance. But I may stick with this if battery life is a lot better than X Performance. I may also wait for the next, next Sony flagship. Note 7 is gonna be great but it's Samsung. It's gonna lag a lot and Iphone 7 pro, I find ios very boring.

It doesn't affect the usage when holding the phone vertically and actually helps not obstruct the screen and/or accidentally press it when holding horizontally. That alone is a significant benefit AND bigger bezels mean bigger battery. I don't see any problems here.

Looking good. You don't like it, don't buy it. Nobody cares what phone you have anyway. Or are you really that desperate for other people's approval? That's called an iSheep mentality.
With this going to be released, the X Performance price is going down. I'm gonna get the XP soon! :D

Holy crap! Those bezels + on-screen buttons take up 50% of the phone!!! Even 10 year old Nokia phones (that weren't flagships) had more screen.
How on Earth do they keep selling this crap?! And why doesn't someone tell them to stop?!
