More than likely this is publicity from Apple, either generating a news story based on no actual news (a tactic employed a lot in the media. e.g. JONES DENIES MILK SHORTAGE), to promote their products; thus, gaining increased market approval among the vast numbers of pro-Army Americans.

You all are making useless comments.
There is no comparison shown between Apple and Samsung. The purpose of selecting iPhone 6s is not because its Apple ,but because of ios reliability.
Look, military devices are just not made for changing every year or two. These can be used for four to five years. In such case Apple provide better update, they have better memory management, and every one knows about those awesome AX socs.
As a Samsung fan, I will say the s7 is better than iPhone 6s, but if anything like reliability is in between then I will go for iPhone. Thank you.

First they compare a 4 year phone to the latest one.
Then they select a phone as fragile as iPhone. Army people should opt for a rugged device like Samsung galaxy s7 active.
It would be fast, fluid & without any issues & tough to break.

It's just one App cutted in half like Youtube (half Video, half comment section). And the glass back Breaks in military use way faster than the aluminum back of iPhone

I get you wouldn't See a difference between a 500ppi Super AMOLED and a 300ppi Super AMOLED if all others specs are the same (sunlight legibility, brightbess, color Reproduction and so on). The best Screen I have seen so far is the one of Galaxy S6. When I saw it, I thought it still had a foil on the screen and was surprised when I could use it :D Apple Sticks to LCD yet but they have the best LCD on market
