Finally received May security patch update yesterday (13Sep16) on my Moto x Style XT1572 here in india........!!Just the security patch update (No 6.0.1) though the Moto site says July security patch is available..!!

So the next update will be available in October, and it's still on 6.0?! That's sad and pathetic for a brand that brags about providing fast updates, oh wait, it's now owned by a Chinese company that explains it.

AnonD-562768, 21 Jul 2016Still waiting on the Android 6.0.1 update that Google relea... moreFirstly, 6.0.1 contained bug-fixes only. If I remember correctly there are almost no bugs on Motorola's implementation of 6.0 so why do you need 6.0.1.
Secondly, Motorola did this on Lollipop for X 2014 as well. It never received 5.1.1 because Motorola had already eliminated the bugs in 5.1 which Nexus 4 & 5 users were plagued with.
I'm not defending Motorola, I dont have a Moto either, but crying a river for 6.0.1 is futile [my HTC One M8 runs 6.0 bug-free], the X Pure will get Nougat so what's the real issue here?

Still waiting on the Android 6.0.1 update that Google released LAST YEAR!
Lenovo hasn't bothered to put any effort into releasing things many people would pay for (battery case).
The third party accessories for the Moto X pure have been almost non-existent, especially in comparison to when Google owned Motorola.
I am beginning to think Lenovo doesn't care about the Moto brand and really is just about pushing the next new phone that will then also be ignored.
Anyone else get that feeling?
