Unlimited Verizon subscribers who use "extraordinary" amount of data will be given an ultimatum

20 July, 2016
Samsung's latest batch of smart fitness accessories - the Gear Fit 2 and Gear IconX are still fresh on the market. And while the second generation smartband doesn't really need an introduction at this point, the Gear IconX could probably use one. Now retailing on six markets outside Korea and counting it seems like a good idea to explain to prospective buyers exactly what the EUR 230 headphones can offer.

sa11oum, 22 Jul 2016I can't stand those companies. If you don't want people to ... moreThat's actually correct, how can someone accuse someone of using excessive or they say "extraordinary" if they actually advertise its "UNLIMITED" its the same case here in the PHILIPPINES, GLOBE or SMART telecom, they used to have UNLIMITED data plans, but they already stopped it all and just capping their customers to consumable data plans, which we don't deserve, nowadays, INTERNET is like FOOD as a necessity. Internet is being incorporated to every thing we do, for our PHONES, PCs, Navigating, researching, selling and buying, etc....

Well as what I have said, Miscommunication and Misunderstanding regarding Advertisements and Disclaimers

There are a lot of people our there who are complaining because the advertisement says unlimited and yes it is unlimited However there is what you Call High Speed Data and Throttle... If you are going to read the whole disclaimer which most consumer doesn't read: you will be able to understand why you receive and email or an sms that you are using excessive data or Data Cap reach already...

For Example: In the US Service Provider Straight Talk Wireless $45 plan Airtime Card Says:
*$45 Unlimited Talk, Text & Data Plan
              - 30 Service Days
              - Unlimited Nationwide Talk and Text
              - First 5GB of Data UP TO 4G LTE† SPEED THEN 2G*
              * Customer called in my data is very slow: why did I receive a message that I have used all my data while my plan is Unlimited.?. Based on the information of the card you can easily say that the caller did not read the whole information of the Airtime Card.

I used to work for Vodafone in the UK. Users who went over say 6gb received a message informing them of the fair usage policy, then if they continued to use a lot of data, vodafo e with simply throttle the network speeds. So although they could still get data, it would be outrageously slow

I don't even have it ON. I use giffgaff. Would love to use other networks, but where I live, only O2 has got a decent coverage (when I tried Three, I haven't had service for 2 days, and they explained, that because of the foliage, the signal can't punch through, morons). O2 don't do unlimited data for now, so the only other option I would have is Tesco (as they use O2 antennas same as GG). The warning email came from a network provider. There goes "unlimited" data, but they changed it now for "Always ON", so this may be a trick on their side.
