Don't worry, it's easy to restore software back, so they couldn't possibly have a clue it has been rooted before!

Unless you want a brick or you're confident that you know what you're upto then leave it alone & wait for the official version to be released.
REMEMBER. Putting an unofficial firmware WILL invalidate your warranty, so you'll have a very expensive brick if it goes wrong.

Careful all - The link in the news post takes you to an Incredible ROM. Do not flash it on a Desire.

tiggerlator, 25 Sep 2010Boot speed makes no differance at all, its nice but so what... moreI turn my phone off and on every work day. The reason is that I have a separate phone for work and personal use. I turn my personal phone off when I'm at work and I turn my work phone off after work. I like the fact that my Blackberry takes seconds to turn off and on. It's annoying that my Nokia takes a minute to turn on.

My galaxy takes well over a minute because even though you see the home screen you still gotta wait for media scanning and if you try to click on an app the app takes a while to load. Personally I would like that quick magic boot time cause I change my battery daily, its nice to have extra battery when 1ghz phones piss through them in a day!
