How hilarious! There are overwhelming amount of highly positive reviews on the Gear VR. And FYI, mobile vr had already taken off the way Samsung, and others, want it to. The Gear VR alone is about to enter its 4th iteration with the Note 7. You need to stop living under a rock.

I'm amazed, and you've convinced me that buying a $600 smartphone and a $150 headset is worth it for VR, even though you'll have to use that same phone later (but only for a couple of minutes because of the 4K display).
I don't own an iPhone, but I think even an iPhone user would know that designing a phone with VR in mind, and therefore making sacrifices, is a bad idea because mobile VR won't take off in the way Samsung, and some others, want it to.

The focusing lenses aren't universal for people with no 20/20 vision. They need to fix that. Universal VR gears are less than $10. Meantime, I'm waiting for AR, not VR.
