Julliard, 29 Jul 2016Just growing 4G market? Nice country to test 4G phones. US ... moreWhat is the need of having 4G only to experience 3G HSPA+ speeds of 30-45mbps? Most 4G networks in Africa are much faster than 4G networks abroad. Safaricom Kenya's 4G network is the fasted in the world with real life speeds that exceed 100mpbs. Orange (now Africell) Uganda's 4G has speeds that exceed 60mpbs. These 4G networks have existed since 2013.
The post writer is probably in Ukraine enjoying 4G speeds of 20mpbs.

Sometimes am amazed at how these Editors and companies in developed countries are clueless of what is transpiring in Africa in terms of development and strides that Africa is making!!!Most of the time they just report Non- factual information about what's happening in Africa.

... well, we are not establishing 4g infrastructure in nigeria, we have 4g network and its being enjoyed by those who can afford it. although, its not yet spread like 3-3.75 g, but its working well
to easily capture the market here is an ambitious statement, because the market here is dominated by tecno, infinix, injoo (going by the masses and the purchasing power). am a samsung advocate here in nigeria, but i have to be factual...

It's a kill. If they maintain that price point for Asian countries in Africa, Tizen will surely threaten the existence of Android.

Testing bed? ... Anyways it won't go far over here in Nigeria. People don't fare too well on contemporary OS.. Samsung will risk their brand legacy if they eventually piss people out with Tizan
