Things won't change, cause you are tricked by the 12MP camera which is inferior even to a 13MP camera of a China phone worth less than $400.

By the way Samsung is not forcing you to buy it, if you don't like it then go for Apple iPhone, Sony, HTC, LG, Lenovo, Xiaomi, Huawei, Alcatel, and lots of other brands available, let us see if you can find what you need with the price you want.
And don't forget to post it here if ever you found it. Good luck!

It is the S7 Edge that cost more than $1000 with only 32GB internal storage.
Don't turn the table of your desperation from buying the glass phone for more than $1000 with features equivalent to less than $500 china phone.
By the way still can't move on with your pride for VR headsets?
Just for your ignorance, LG VR is $220, Oculus Rift is $600, Sony PlayStation VR is $400, and Samsung Gear VR is only $99.99 with the same features.
Don't spread your ignorance here alleged teacher!

AnonD-308243, 31 Jul 2016thats the go to response when someone tells you the truth o... moreHehe, he bought the Note.5 last December for $800, all because he wanted to experience the free VR headgear. Those things cost just under $10 for China-made generic ones. Suffice to say, Samsung was just clearing out old stocks with USB connectors.

All the past features like finger hover view, USB 3.0 (10x more faster than 2.0), IR blaster, removable battery for us to just change to an even higher capacity or replace it once bad, memory expansion (now back), Nearby Devices function (the old way whereby I can access all my media directly from my tablet or TV without router), and thermometer, are all still on my Note 3.

All I'm looking forward is a better camera experience like with the S7 Edge (my wife's), and the rest is pretty limiting. Who in their right mind really want the fragile glass back and eventual degrading sealed battery? They've added fast charging/fast wireless charging so you can ruin that sealed battery within a year. I know his sealed 3000mAh is pretty terrible by now at around 70% efficient than brand new. He must have sold it a month or two ago. And this guy seems to thrive whatever limited or lessened features the Galaxy Note used to represent.

Pedro-TheNeighbor, 31 Jul 2016Exactly. A ton of features from previous Galaxy Note Note 3... moreSo why didn't Samsung bring back your favorite plastic material?
Just like when you said when they bring back the microSD card support because it is important.
If we will stick to your principle on bringing back the microSD card support, it will mean that glass back is better than plastic because Samsung keeps bringing it back from S6, Note5 and S7, now Note 7.
And so is the non-removable battery. Don't be hypocrite alleged teacher. Stick to your principle.

Well, it seems that it won't be really really worth a sort of upgrade from the S7 Edge!?? No 6GB RAM, no stereo speakers, no 4K display, no 8MP F Camera, no more battery, etc. & €850, i think it will be easily beatable from the other top dogs/ brands during the year, probably even from the Chinese ones, as a value for money!!!?

AnonD-308243, 31 Jul 2016and the sammy flock pays for an FM tuner and never use it, ... moreExactly. A ton of features from previous Galaxy Note Note 3 and 4 gone on the Note.5 like micro USB 3.0, Hover View, IR remote, ability to change the battery to even higher capacity, and removing the memory expansion last year sent Samsung sales plunging down - that sent a real message!

Then there are those who keep telling themselves the back glass is soooo premium, yet it's the silliest idea to put a fragile material at the back. Ask because they keep failing to see flexible plastic as durable. And what do they do? Yes, put rubber and plastic cases so glass doesn't shatter. Ironic.
