From SuperAmoled to ClearLCD...even giant companies can't sustain their own produce. Does this mean Wave will be coming in ClearLCD, too?

oh.. only the screen change to bigger size but change to slcd (it downgrade i believe)..others remain same.
not advice to buy if the price is more.what we need is the upgrade of bada os. The application sometime cannot clear the memory when i play game on wave.i refer to bruce lee game that i download free at samsung apps.need to switch off the phone and on it back. anyone else have this problem.
one more is anybody know where the notification at the fcebook social hub.not a complete apps..dissappointed at this point.

I wonder, why Samsung says they're in shortage of AMOLED and changes back to LCD while Nokia provides 4 new different types of phones with AMOLED???
can someone clear that mysterious thing out?

the bada version 1.2 included on the wave II is already inofficially out and available for manual flashing of the first wave ... and it includes the "swype" functionality apart from other improvements

There is no way the 5mp camera from samsung is even close to the amazing quality of the vivaz or x10's camera? Are you high or something ?
Maybe if you compare them in the phone, the pics will look better because of the samoled screen. But in reality the pics truly sucks, just send them to the pc, and you will be so disappointed with the quality of your wave. Speically in low light conditions, the wave pics are simply a joke, they remind me of nokia's quality before 5 years maybe.
And what's with samsung degrading from samoled so slcd? I though samsung used to lead the technology but it seems I was wrong.
I think you should change your nick to simple minded, instead of ultimate mind, because you only speak rubbish.

just a 0.4 inch bigger screen,that to a DOWNGRADE to S-LCD with the same hardware as the normal wave?EPIC FAIL on this one samsung..stick with the S8500..

Bada sucks :(.
samsung might close it anytime like what they did for symbian now.
if Bada doesnt progress,t hen the same fate to Wave owners

S8500 Wave was released in stores less than 6 months ago. And now owners who has paid around 400 euros will have discontinued phone on hands... If it goes like this after 2-3 years manufacturers will release "new" model every month... And in fact if you check the specs, there is no difference between Wave I and Wave II, except sizes (screen and body) and display type. Plus, many people may prefer more compact size and supposedly longer battery life of Wave I.
According to rumors Samsung has sold all Super AMOLED displays to one of other manufacturers (they say Apple). If it's really true, I believe that Samsung did a big mistake helping Apple to popularize their already very popular products... But we will see...

Samsung im sorry but the Bada platform i tried is a no go for me, it cant be updated only by KIES, and when i tried it it didnt work :S, lots of errors and i tried fixing it with the command prompt but still it gave me another error so i just quit, it just felt like fake and the Bada OS feels young and somehow fake, its like its just made to be sold and make profit out of.
Sorry Samsung but u just produce to make profit, not to make the user happy.

First its Super AMOLED, then AMOLED Plus, and now Super Clear LCD besides regular SLCD. :roll eyes:
