People coming on here to say Tizen is rubbish have an agenda,thats what threads are for,invade,blacken,poison public opinion, stop it selling,on to the next samsung thread.
Here's the simple truth I only have a Tizen watch, but, its simple,quick, light and refreshing.
I use android phones but, if/when apps become more abundant, Tizen and android are very similar and the absence of apple and microsoft and google is enough to make anyone consider it.

The people buying it are only interested in having a really basic smartphone.

But tizen is far better than android in memory management. The only thing is Tizen is too far behind from android in features to catch up...
In layman's term Tizen's base is much stronger/stable than that of android's.

But they forget it will ruin their brand value when the people bought Tizen powered phone come across android phone from other brand.

There is high demand for entry level phones in places like Sub Saharan Africa or India, so that's where they will sell their new entry level phone. Why would they sell it in South Korea when there is no demand there?

Specs are honestly underwhelming but then again foebtje price it's to be expected. I heard its coming to South Africa. Will no doubt buy it only to give tizen a go.
Can't wait.
