Samsung always one step ahead of their competitor technologically. Apple surely will implement this advance feature for their future iPhone.

That's cool. But I'm probably gonna end up with the exynos version of the 7 though. But its not like I'm craving for more speed. I'm probably gonna be more than satisfied with the performance, judging by my experience with the S6. The battery on that was crap though.

        Hmmmm, I'm liking it.

Loving it, except we aren't getting any unlimited LTE data plans anymore.

Its only me, or only I dont see performance boost but only more battery drain and connection problems for past... 5 years, in terms of LTE?

5 years ago I had LTE phones and modem from orange/tmobile, real transfer speed not using speed tests but ftp/http download? 20-30mbps with 30-40ping.
year later? different phones, different carriers... still real speed on LTE: 20-30mbps...
the same for past few years, and this year, I was using different LTE from carriers from around Europe... and still real speed is 20-30mbps...

And only difference was... worst battery and stability of signal on my phones and modems... no matter what phone I was using when I switched on LTE, battery was flat 2x faster, even today xperia z5, Z3, iPhone 6, galaxy note4... All phones get hot, when using LTE, and battery is down to less than 10% in a matter of hours.

So no matter how much you gonna mess with technical aspect of LTE, core this technology is just not optimized at all, it use huge amount of resources to keep that transfer speed and signal, and with phones that have smaller and smaller batteries, is just useless to use it for longer time than 1hour...
Someone would say that ""turn it on only when you need it"" or "use wifi hotspots". First of all, wifi hotspots that you can find in cities are slow and unstable(+not secured), and turning on and off LTE/3G/2G and switching between them all the time is worst for battery than using lte all the time, so its not a solution...
