Facebook will soon display ads even if you have adblock

10 August, 2016
Facebook will start bypassing adblockers and display ads anyway soon. The social network has explained in a blog post that ads are crucial for its existence and that, in the end, they aren't all that bad.

Adblocks need to improvise and it should be available as a feature in phones. Any phone with free adblocks will be my top priority.

GoogleLawyer, 11 Aug 2016How did you know that google is selling user's information?... moreNo, Google can't track you down. Just use proxy server or VPN, clear all kind of cookies, don't use Google account, block ads and trackers, ... . Then you can comment.

...So Adblock *** will lose right?~

                  It has already started -_-
But Ad block devs will bring a new update.
This will be a new jailbreak war :P

Anonymous, 10 Aug 2016Yeah, this proves that Facebook doesn't get it. People don'... moreYou and those people you mention didnt understand. How can a website or a social media survive without funds ? Ofcourse FB is free would you like FB to charge you monthly? that so very obvious that the reason why they need Ads is to make money and to survive :3

Anonymous, 10 Aug 2016If they use non-intrusive ads like Google did, then I don't... moreGoogle is just as bad. They sell user information too. And not just from your google search but also from your android device. Never trust these big giant tech companies unless they are screwing up the govt like Apple.

Yeah, this proves that Facebook doesn't get it. People don't want ads because they are ANNOYING. It's not the CONTENT of the ads, it's the ANNOYANCE LEVEL of the ads. Flashing lights and videos and sucking all the bandwidth is the problem, not whether I am interested in spoons or car tires. If they would do a few text ads with small (non-flashing/moving!) pictures I don't think anyone would mind.

But what do I care, I've never had a FB account and never will.

got to your router settings, go to parent control/access control options
                                add those addresses to list:
                                googleads.g.doubleclick.net, googeadservices.com

you can of course add any ad's service address there.

And what it will do? It will block ANY ads/sites in every device connected to your router.
All you gonna see is just "cant access site" text instead of ad's
Also it will seriously speed up your internet, because it will block ads not on your browser, that still download them and just not show, but it will block total access to your network.

Im doing that for almost 10 years, and I can say that its best ad block :]
