Facebook will soon display ads even if you have adblock

10 August, 2016
Facebook will start bypassing adblockers and display ads anyway soon. The social network has explained in a blog post that ads are crucial for its existence and that, in the end, they aren't all that bad.

Anonymous, 10 Aug 2016If they use non-intrusive ads like Google did, then I don't... moreNeither Facebook nor Google can be trusted with anything.

That's why I've quit using the services that they offer.

We crossed our ways with Facebook a month ago. Best decision I made in a while. The real life is outside this "social" network.

The problem is that you'll be shown hundreds of thousands if not millions of adds in a year through just the web pages. An add here or there isn't that bad, but when like 95% of a web pages data is adds, you have a problem.

They might can bypass Adblock, but Ublock Origin has the capability to circumvent those tricks and block the "unblockable" ads.
