the only thing that I like with this phone is the front camera support ois and good for vlogging with the front camera while walking.

Those idiots never learn at HTC. Time after time and year after year they make the same freakin mistakes each time they release a new smartphone. Looks like reality finally caught up with them. Those running HTC were too stubborn and arrogant in their own world.

Why can't they make a decent phone? Their devices are certainly priced that high. And who designs these things? Why isn't it obvious that body wants a huge, ugly, uneven chin with a logo on it? It might have been okay in 2010, but not 6 years later.

And they have to start putting in some respectable batteries.

Anonymous, 11 Aug 2016Oneplus 3 The Oneplus 3 is a wanna be flagship killer. its camera is laughable in low light. and iffy in daylight. They put a 1080p screen on a phone when 2k screens should be the norm. Dont
get me wrong, Carl Pei is doing the right thing by designing a great phone and pricing it at
rock bottom for what are great specs. but a flagship killer it aint, and the HTC One is way
        better.

The problem with HTC is that they tried to sell their phones at the same price as their competition (Samsung, LG) when they should have sold it at the same price as Oneplus and ZTE until they found their legs. The HTC One wasnt a bad phone, and the camera was actually really good, and could hold its own against the like of LG and Samsung. Was it
better? no, but it was better the the OP3 and the Axon7

I waited to get a replacement and the HTC A9 is the best looking feel in palm handset. We got 3 of them for business. 1 wear later, people often comment on its class. Pity it was never distributed globally. The 10 is nice too, shame it does not match to A9 on it feel where glass meets frame. 10/10

its unfortunate since HTC 10 is pretty well made phone
but if you want to charge as much as apple or samsung (especially samsung since its android)
HTC needed to spend just as much as Samsung in terms of marketing but we all know thats not possible.

Put one step in a retail shop and the salesmen are trying to sell you a Samsung, and only a Samsung. That is why I don't go there anymore, and that is why I only buy unlocked devices. In the end, you're better off.

I have this phone, and i have to say, it's a beast, everything is top notch even the camera, so many people have moved over from the S7 and iphone to this, you have to live with it to appreciate it.

A truly great phone, marred only by a couple of bad phones from HTC.

Reputation a lifetime to build it, crumbles in seconds.

This is a shame, but predictable, the HTC M7 changed the design ethos of what a premium phone should be. While everyone else moved their design philosophy forward, HTC moved sideways and sometimes backwards (M8,M9). The HTC A9 is shamefully underpowered with terrible battery life.
We need HTC to innovate and not levitate!

If HTC bring out the next Nexi and they go under there will be no support for them. Bit late now for Google to change partners. According to Phone Arena they have not even reached the million mark yet. Every year something goes wrong with Nexus. If they bring price down it will sell.

This is great example how a fantastic phone struggles because of poor marketing. For younger people only Apple and Samsung rule, they probably don't even know what benefits are there because of the HTC Sense launcher being close to stock Android, or because the phone has separate, discrete, quality amplifiers for speakers and headphones, presence of the future-proof USB-C connector, fingerprint sensor that's not mechanical and which unlocks the device just right after you touch it.

Pity for HTC because this really is a good phone. But for example in some European countries they sell it only through operators, you can't buy the unlocked phone on open market, and instead they sell there the Lifestyle crap with pricetag the same as the full 10 has.

it's only a matter of time now before htc bites the dust. at least they had a good run.

There's three main points to get good sales nowdays in android world: have a brand name, have best android phone or atleast stand out, sell it cheap.

HTC dont have any of these so i think we can soon say R.I.P HTC.

AnonD-411799, 11 Aug 2016they probably are joking.True ! That camera is laughable. The big innovation of htc front ois camera which is worse than eis front camera from s7. In my country prices are quite messed up. For instance oneplus3 is same price as se 16gb , lg g5 is same price as p9 and gold s7 which is on discount. Htc is like over 100 euros more. Htc 10 is a great phone but since most put a hard cover on it u wont feel that premium design in hands , but again htc and sony are way 2 expensive . At least iphone has different os and they can ask how much they want.
