AnonD-573117, 16 Aug 2016Never gonna buy Samsung again. Shity touchwiz, stupid home ... moreYeah i totally agree, besides the cheap materials, i mean theyr phones have been pretty sturdy for me. Using an S6 Edge+ and im not feeling any appeal for the Note 7, especially knowing the chinese one is better. Sadly, those who buy Samsung cannot really think theyve got the best Android smartphone, not on the running times at least. Its acessories, support, warranty, repair and software are theyr phones demise. Not going fool a 4th time.

I hope this device is decently priced but knowing HTC.... still, I think Google has a say in the final pricing structure. But it is hoping against hope when you take into consideration the previous devices...

Will love to see some shots of the bigger 5.5" screen Marlin. I already have a few devices on mind but as a long time Nexus and HTC fan..I also want to see what Google and HTC have been cooking.

I wonder if OnePlus will get the chance to build to Nexus device? It looks like HTC has already catastrophically failed before the smartphones have even been announced, Regardless, I still have high hopes for the devices.

Sushant Sic, 16 Aug 2016Google's attempt to save HTC gonna fail... The nexus line up does not really have that large amount of sales to begin with. They're not as readily available as other comparably speced phones from competing manufacturers.

Why is it so thick? Looks like its well over 9 mm in thickness. And what's with the huge bezels on the top n the bottom, esp when there are no buttons or finger print up front. Pls let that be a cover/case.

Anonymous, 16 Aug 2016I know Samsung has many customers but boy oh boy how I wish... moreNever gonna buy Samsung again. Shity touchwiz, stupid home button, stupid capacitive buttons. Worst designe ever, very cheap materials even for s-series. Last year My nexus 4 broke down and i bought middlerage Samsung. Its 4g was only tiny bit faster than nexus with 3g. Touchwiz is catastroph. After 2 days sold that piece Of shit and got nexus repaired. Now very happy nexus 5x user. I guess samesung is for those who doesnt care for users interface, quality Of materials, egonomics or price. You cant call Samsung good phone after using nexus.

Google's attempt to save HTC gonna fail...

Meow, 16 Aug 2016lol you lot moaning about HTC making nexuses HTC had been ... moreFyi i know more about Nexus about you do since i know HTC made the 1st one,but did you know LG made 3 NEXUSes.Wait no you didn't becoz you are defending HTC here and you are blinded by the truth.
Secondly,Samsung made Nexus for 2times in a ROW-HELLO WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
So Samsung would be a better choise or even Sony.
Thirdly,HTC is a good company i am not complaining at all like others did with their insultive comments.I mean i know you are a htc fan but seriosly ? I am just saying LG would do a better job in terms of specs and everything.
Not to mention in an article Nexus 5X from LG and 6P from Huawei are considered flag ships of all android phone.Hmm it think that does tell me something.
I have been seeing HTC designs for few months now and i have to say, they are doing a terrible job compared to the old, bold design Samsung does but still is better than HTC,LG even tries to do something and it looks quite good,Huawei is doing a great job too (ever seen P8 or P9 ? ).Huawei phones are considered top phones in Europe,Smasung is known worldwide for quilty and brand,LG is also for brand, what is HTC known for ? Except for build quiality, nothing else to be honest. Also HTC got picked 1st fyi becoz it was really popular and new to the market in 2010.But the only thing that i actually liked about it it that had a SD card slot, like others don't,that's the only good thing from HTC.Also seen the tablets NExus makes, are they from HTC, no ? Yeah let give you a reminder Asus made them, another company that makes great phones (but a bit overpriced),Samsung made a tablet too.
Also for the guy bellow me.SOny is failing in production, why Google doesn't help them EH ? Every phone is using a freaking SONY CAMERA sensors and everything but what does Google about it ? Nothing!
Oh Nexus 6P would break ? I doubt it,i have it and it has dropped more times than you think, but i am sure you have read the wiki page that shortly after the device was launched, it was reported that the device chassis was susceptible to bending under pressure. While bending under pressure is not unique to the Nexus 6P, it was reportedly easier to bend than the iPhone 6 Plus. But then again i don't do bend tests to know about :).
To sum up,HTC does a good job,but not enough,LG,Samsung,Asus,Sony, would do a much better job.But hey if i want a tank of a phone i can buy Samsung s7 active or other stone devices. But hey, maybe i am being a jerk, since we haven't seen other specs about 5'5 version, but it was just my opinion.
