14 nm process only helps with the battery. The frugal A53 cores used are already pretty battery efficient so pointless using a 14nm node for. Even though the 652/650 are fabbed on the old 28nm hpm process, they offer far superior performance, in a different league altogether, due to use of A72 cores and a better Gpu (Around Adreno 330 level). And to top it off, the SD652/650 have dual channel memory at 933mhz, which means much better bandwidth at around 16 GB/s. Bandwidth matters in things such as high res video decoding and 3D gaming. The more there is, the better.
Apart from battery life, the SD 625 cannot compete at all.

We will get SD650 devices at 10k
SD808 at 20k
and SD820 at 25k...
.
Asus is selling a SD625 device at 22k..
Even Samsung became surprised after seeing its specs...

I wanted to buy the Ultra version but after seeing the price, it looks like it's not going to happen. I know each country has different prices but they're always kind of similar so....nope.

Asus has to cut down price of all zenfone 3 series by 1/3 or after one yr has to replace ceo for wrong pricing and lower sales in 62k u can have iphone6+, samsung s7 edge

Brand built by Zenfone 2 wil be ruined by Zenfone 3, because of average camera, high costs compared to One plus 3, in 6gb RAM segment. You cant have double the cost of your competitor brand

I think Asus has lost its mind. Zenfone 3 is way too overpriced. Why would someone not purchase MI5 at that price which has way better specs? It seems Asus did not look at the competition before doubling their price.
