Huawei commits to 24 months of software updates

Taylor Wimberly of Huawei Device USA has chimed in on Google+ to announce the company's plan to commit to a 24-month time frame of software updates. Starting from this year, the company will provide new customers with access to new features once every three months for the first year.

Lol, sounds good on paper. In reality they will give you a couple of big updates then something like the ability to add magenta letters or something like that just to comply with the 24 month thing down the road.

    My wifes P9 Light had two updates already. Very nice.

      They provided honor 6, 4c and 4x with 2 major adroid updates. So there are high chances they will.

                glad to see that android oems finally starts updating their devices atleast once in 3 months... But i will stick to nexus anyways, but thats very good for customers updates, especially on that sexy blueish honor 8.
