kakouille, 20 Aug 2016 People are smart enought to not buy chinese crap. It's not just about performance. Consumers purchase products with reliability, brand trust, after sales service, and even social status as prime considerations beside value for money. In those regards, samsung's mid-rangers remain the more appealing choices over other oem offers.

I m an Indian and a big admirer of Huawei. Though being an Indian I must support indian manufacturers but they aren't upto the mark sadly.

and as far as Samsung and certain Chinese OEM's growth in India is concerned, I am strongly feeling that Indian consumers are not concerned much of the better HUAWEI/HONOR phones.

My friend Brock his J5's touch panel twice and to my surprise Samsung service center replaced it (in warranty period) both times without any cost. Now that's a really appreciable service from Samsung.

Well as far as samsung is concerned their flagship models like note series and galaxy series really have the quality to defeat its competitor.

As far as J series is concerned, a person can buy it only if he is too ignorant to know that we have devices like moto g4 plus, Redmi note 3 , Redmi 3s, meizu m3 note, etc . After sales service may be second issue.
But when it comes to value for money and quality j series lags far behind its competitors. Point me any review on youtube where the reviewer advice you to buy samsung j7 over Redmi note 3.

Micromax, reliance jio has such a large share as they sell cheap devices devoid of any quality.
In semi urban , rural area people still believe in samsung, micromax.

But gradually when information dissemination increase in semi urban and rural area, the market share of samsung, mixromax will decrease.
