Very good considering more country where the iPhone have very big price ( ex Germany where iPhone is more than 1000 EURO in shop without contract and with contract is 200 EURO at 30 EURO / month and don't receive very much for this money)
If all country don't have any exclusivity than sell more iPhone.

Who cares what Jobs says? I certainly don't take any notice. The iphone does all the talking to me, and is a good little all purpose phone.
I love the iphone, but I will, like all the other so called "isheep" (childish namecalling) move on after this device to Android. It's not that I have any complaints, it's just most people like to try new things. Meanwhile another 14 million will likely convert from Nokia/Samsung/SE to Apple when I move away.
With every phone I buy, I usually end up missing something. This time, I miss using WMP to transfer my music, and a camera flash.

And truth be told, there's much more to fiddle with in Android than it is for even unlocked iPhones.
The presence of custom content and ROMs available for a wide variety of phones is much more appealing than the integrated, yet limited environment of the iOS. I am very well aware of the features unlocked with jailbroken devices, but these were already present in some vanilla Android phones. And rooting them will just open up the filesystem more, giving access to the core components which users can tinker with.
Andy Rubin of Google tweeted his definition of open, a bunch of codes for compiling Android. This means that custom files could be created on a user-level basis, and not restricted by a company's guidelines. Basically anyone could cook a ROM on his or her discretion, maybe publish it to the web. This is what development should be, IMO.

iphoning4u, 20 Oct 2010Take that Nokia and Samsung
*Posted from my iphone 4 hel... moreWhat has Samsung got to lose? Either way, both of their segment are thriving.
Firstly, Their mobile section are selling record number of mobile phone, their Galaxy S are receiving good result, The rate galaxy is being picked up is faster than people picking up the first generation of Iphone. (Using the First gen as galaxy S is a new approach for samsung)
Secondly, As apple sell more devices, Samsung Semiconductor are poised to reap from this as it sell chip to apple, its a industry wide known fact.
Lastly, Samsung has once again earned more than what Apple is earning, in fact, Apple has never posted profit that exceeds Samsung in terms of fiscal year. The 3Q as well. Samsung posted profit of USD 4.3 Billion. :D
Samsung Profit for Q3 is $4.3 Billion, thats the same as Apple. But its profit of $4.2 Billion in Q2 is far greater than Apples. Its sales of $36 billion also exceeds apple. Bare in mind thats just its electronics subsidiary, it still has interest in healthcare, heavy machinery, constructions, insurance etc. It is the world largest conglomerate to be exact. Most importantly, Samsung did not brag about it but remain humble with their current status. They did not shoot out at other competitor like what s.job has done, i believe if the company remain as arrogant as it is now, it will sooner or later fall to the ground, this time, Microsoft would not bail it out, not even google. (citing the fact that Apple is saying 7" tablet is too small, their tablet approach is of perfect size)

I wouldnt call my self an Apple fan and after Mr Jobs ranting yesterday i dont know if i would want a Apple product for me its not the product so much its more the company that puts me off.
But I would have to agree that Apple really do know what they are doing when it comes to selling and producing product.
I was recently selling some tickets at work for charity and we have eight floors and on floor with have different wings. without a doubt the iphone was the most featured phone in the whole of the building in fact in certain sections it was all iphone, and no these were not bought by the company.
I dont know what it is that makes people so angry on this website. I have used an iphone and it is smooth to use and very easy and the build quality of the iphone is amazing there is nothing in android that can compete with the build of the iphone. To me Android takes its que from the iphone its still loads and loads of apps on a screen, the flow and ease of use on the iphone is what makes a hit.
The only miss for me in Apple is Mr Jobs

[deleted post]Can you spell correctly on any othe language than English? English is not my first, or even second, language, and s and z are rather close on my qwerty. I see you have no good arguments to defend your idol Steve Jobs so you turn to desperate personal attacks. Iphone4 is the most expensive phone but it is still not not best phone. It has a gold screen but tha is the only thing that it i better than all other phones, but on EVERYTHING else IPhone4 is still behind the best flagship-phones from other companies. Not being able to handle Flash 10.1 is not a good thing, and if Android uaers do not want Flash they can simply choose to turn it of.

jjsoviet, 20 Oct 2010Flash was promised to be in the iPhone, then was cancelled ... moreFlash was maybe considered initially to be on the iphone but it was never promised. Flash is too slow for the iphone. It will only slow down the iphone's development. Plus, flash demands too much power and compromises performance and security. We don't mind not having it at all. Websites are now developing html5 versions of their media contents for iphone and ipad users.
Some users are happy with the iphone out of the box. For the adventurous ones, they can always jailbreak their iphones. Again, you may not agree with Apple's way of business, but over 14 million users don't seem to mind.

We're doing just fine without flash. So why are you making it your problem? jjsoviet, 20 Oct 2010Flash was promised to be in the iPhone, then was cancelled ... moreWhilst I don't agree with a lot of your comments, at least you write them in a lucid, inteligent fashion.
For me, your earlier argument about fragmentation vs integration is precisely Andriods biggest achiles heel. I had the HTC Legend & the single biggest annoyance was searching through the marketplace for apps that I personally wanted, only to find hundreds of "doesn't work on (insert phone of choice)" in the reviews or "made for (insert phone of choice) only". At least with apple you know the app will work with your phone.
Secondly I was recommended Hungry Sharks by a 3GS owning friend who paid 59p - I paid £2.49 & the game was far superior on the 3GS.
Some Apps were only available if I rooted my phone (which took an age & required a few resets before I got it right).
I got the iphone 4 & haven't looked back really - took me 10 mins to jailbreak it & now I can file transfer without itunes, use it as a mass media device, set it up as a wifi hotspot & do many, many more things that people say an iphone can't do (which it can) & use the full potential of the iphone (which is a far, far more powerful phone than any I've owned previously including several symbian & windows smartphones).
At the end of the day though I think Therock, below, has it right; There is no "best" smartphone. There's a "best smartphone for each individual dependant upon their needs".

jjsoviet, 20 Oct 2010Style? I don't know but, most brands don't focus on style. ... moremaybe the term I used was not suitable for what my idea really was... so I stand corrected but what I was saying is same as your idea... all android phone brand manufacturer is focusing on which has the greatest hardware and they forgot that the main bloodstream of smart phones are the applications I hope this ones clear enough...

Anonymous, 20 Oct 2010Amoled does not render pure whites like ips lcd does. Amole... moreSafari can not even handle Flash 10.1 so it is a completely useless browser. Flash ads is no problem because "adfree" removes all ads. Steve Jobs is wrong, proving he is no true "God" as Apple-believers seem to think and give money to try and buy a place in Apple-heaven, because Flash is an essential part of browsing on the Internet. Safari is a really bad browser, but the "God" Steve made it and that is why the Apple-belivers think it must be the best browser.

HK, 20 Oct 2010Ladies & Gentlemen....i am please to inform all n each ... moreBeing the best selling phone is not the same thing as being "the best" phone! IPhone4 is not the best phone, but it is the best advertized phone. The buyer believes he is buying a whole new better lifestyle ans joins a commynity of better, smarter, people, and Steve Jobs is their God and Apple-products is a taste of heaven, and the apple-sign is the Apple-believers new crusifix, religious symbol.
