I even watched a video showing how much the P9 throttles. Compared to the S7, S7 got 30 degree Celsius while the P9 got 39 degree Celsius. And its performance gets worse as it gets hotter and hotter. And I am right, performance mode just overclocks the CPU but lessens the battery life and beast performance. I'm not confused. Yes, Cortex A72 is a nice set up but it's the Kirin 955 that makes the P9 get worse. Sad because that SoC is so powerful. Talking about the camera, P9 got some good camera, but we can't deny that Sony is better. Look at this

Huawei is a nice phone, I'm not denying that. But we should see that there are some options better than the P9, and Xperia X is one of them.

BTW here v r talking about mate series. When mate 8 introduced it crushed all the flagships and were number 1 on antutu.. untill new sd, exynos arrived...

And since when was the purpose of performance mode to reduce performance? The purpose of not using performance mode is to save battery, even the battery test on gsmarena used performance mode, and still got better battery life. And the p9 was faster in that video. You seem a bit confused.

Activating it just overclocks the CPU, resulting to more heating and shorter performance speed. The thing here is that the Xperia X uses a mid range SoC but it was able to beat a flagship one, which makes getting the P9 non-sense. And if you can find me everywhere, what now? Do I sound like I care? I have the freedom to like the brand I want. And my decisions are none of your business

Don't compare p9 with performance. Kirin 960 or what ever it will be called will compete it.. u can compare z5 with mate 8 though.. huawei chips are upgraded with mate series. P series just follow the same overclocked chip

No comparison with the note 7 obviously. There isn't a single substitute for the stylus, which is the distinguishing feature of the phone. The distinguishing feature of Sony is large bezels and a camera with too much postprocessing. Yuck...
