Anonymous, 27 Aug 2016I really appreciate the work of XDA developers. But when I ... moreA limited platform for limited users is not a valid product for a comparison. Android and XDA community are for more advanced users and having so many features and an open platform sometimes requires some hardware limitations. Go express your ideas on Apple fanboys forums, they'll definitely appreciate them there.

I only said that these two phones run the newest firmware. I had to think this sentence because gsmarena acted like this was something special, while the iPhone 5 (which is about the same age) runs newest software officially. So you also can't compare it because this ROM is not official from the manufacturer.

But when I ... moreMay I remind you the Nexus 4 costed less than half of the iPhone 5, therefore if you had to replace it after 2 years you would still get a better deal, actually have 2 working phones with vastly improved hardware on the second?

Very different paradigms (at that time).

I love my N4 too much and can't let it go (even it was almost dead twice due to battery!).. I would appreciate if somebody could help install Nougat on my N4 (it is stuck in Lollypop 5.1.1)!!
              Thanks,

I really appreciate the work of XDA developers. But when I read the first sentences, I had to think: The 4 year old iPhone 5, which originally launched with iOS 6.0, is indeed capable of running iOS 10. As a refresher, the iPhone 5 runs on a 1.3GHz dual-core Apple A6 processor which is paired with just 1GB of RAM.

I totally adore Nexus 4, that I think, design-wise, is still the best-looking Nexus phone so far.
The screen size is just the right size, as I don't really like screen bigger than 5".

Its not awesome at all if it isn't stable enough to use. I mean, we can't even begin to talk about actual performance if it isn't stable. Its basically useless.

Bleh, that's nothing,it won't take someone long to get it running and working well on the legendary HTC HD2,which is now TEN+ years old now.HD2 was the phone that made HTC,pity it's the last good phone they made,it's been down hill ever since for HTC..
