I sometimes feel nokia Feels the people in this world are all Fools and keeping this in mind they make thier phones.
Look at the N97, what a dangerous phone, No matter how much AAS Team tried to back it up and say its OK, every one are in a state of shock after buying it, at the price at which it sold I could buy a mid range Netbook, so why the F... I would go for the N97, thats the way most consumers felt and never purchased their Flagship device !!!
And now after all this they release a phone the Nokia N8 (No doubt its a good phone) which they first say it is a midrang device and now sell it is as their Flag ship device, with a flagship price range, I mean what the heck !!! Most of wise consumers would pay little more and go for a galaxy or Iphone instead of the N8, and thats what is really happening ???
Look at its resolution, the screen is long but breathwise narrow, less ram, less processor power, graphic card not up to date !!!
OK OK I understand many r getting angry on this statement of mine and will reply that symbian does'nt need all this !!!!
But what I am trying to say is why dos'nt Noki just put all these uptodate features in their phones, just for the sake of putting them, even though symbian dos'nt need it, and I can assure you consumers will pay even $100 more if have too and purchase them, who knows when it might need these hardware specs in the future !!!!!!, like say when they release symbian^4 it might run on 256MB Ram N8, but slugishlly and when they release S^4.1, S^4.2, I can garantee you it will never run on these upgrades.
" So my main point is Customers r ready to pay, but I cant understand why doesnt Nokia just put the best in their phones, this will solve their two problems-
1- It will shut our complaining mouths, and
2- It will simply encourage customers to buy their products because they know that Hardware power is there to support future upgrades, so their phones does'nt become oblsolete in few months at the rate the tech world is moving ahead."
I also know that now there will be no S^4 or S^5 but just upgrades to S^3, but tell me one thing can you ever trust Nokia looking at their past-
1) Look at Ngage, they promised support for N73 but they failed, and destroyed this beautiful platform itself.
2) Resently I heard that it will be S^4, then S^4.1 then S^4.2 and now they say that No S^4 itself !!!!!!!!
3) They release many phones but support only few with updates and other things, they charges so much for the N85, N79 and many others, but why no free SAT NAV for these phone owners, havent they spent money to buy these phones, why so much injustice ??
4) They destroyed their Keybord phones released in 2008 and 2009 by not putting Hardware graphic cards in thesephones, this bieng on of the main reasons which made their customers turn to other phones !!!!
5) They have now completley forgotten S60 3rd edition, while most customers own these phones, so how can any one trust what they are say when they have never given the desired performances.....
6) I can go on and on and on, but i feel its enough, I know that this write up will anger most of Nokia Fans, but I tell the truth that I too am an Avid Fan of Nokia, but they have really hurt us in the past and present with their products.
I just want to Know That Why Why Nokia dos'nt listen to its Customers and give us the Best the Market can offer at that point of time, I hope things change now and Mr.Elop keeps his promises, lets wait and see,
OR ELES I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT MOST EXISTING CUSTOMERS WILL TURN AWAY FROM NOKIA, IMAGINE SPENDING $500-$700 AND SEEING OUR PHONE BECOME OBSOLETE IN FEW MONTHS TIME !!!!!!!

In theory this sounds absolutely ace, but there are a few things that I’m worried/curious about. And as mentioned above, I still would like to know which version of Symbian I’m running.
What about the app break that was going to happen with Symbian 4 because of the new UI (orbit, i think) based purely on Qt and getting rid of akvon. The same issues as before still apply in that people may be bemused by the totally changed look of the phone and the fact that apps they may well have paid for just don’t work any more.
What about the changes in device resolution that are possible when the new qt ui in symbian 4 comes in? How is this going to be handled?
I heard Symbian 4 needs better specs eg more ram, is this not the case any more?
There are lots of little questions like these that I’m very curious about now. Before with the separate release of Symbian 4 it was all very clear what was going to happen with the app break, look, resolution etc.

Good thing for N8 and C7 owners :)
Youll get S4 ( meaning new layout, ui, panels, homescreens, swype instead of t9 etc) VIA UPDATE.
Nokia will focus more on Meego. No NSeries will be running on Meego.
E series will still continue the Symbian Series.

deep space bar, 22 Oct 2010lol ARM 11 is still still powerful specially for symbian it... moreIm sorry but ARM11 cannot power today's visual UIs.
4 Years after iPhone, and Nokia releases the N8. Still no kinetic scrolling, no rubber banding, multi-touch is anything but smooth (its not pinch to zoom, its more like make a pinch gesture, then half a second later the interface zooms). And those annoying notifications are still there, plus navigation inconsistencies have carried over from 5th edition.

Yes... welcome to the party. A party where a device I buy now will have continuous upgrades over its lifetime so its peerless hardware will be complemented by improved software.
This is a good thing and just makes my N8 even better.

Welcome to the party Nokia! Here you have the left over cake lol. What the hell took you so long. All this talk about symbian being lean and mean and not needing better CPU's and RAM is all theory which they have failed to implement but somehow managed it in maemo. Get on with the it Nokia

dear nokia if u read this...nowadays,cellphones is not just a need but wants and people wants something for a change..we want trendy,,classy,,and hi-technology that would make us feel like we live in the future!
we want the following:

4. metal hardware..scratch resistance,style really matters..simple and professional n decent.
5. camera optical zoom 12mp-20mp if possible or more.
6. stylus is important for those booted apps that some icons might small.
7.freebies apps..more apps on ovi..full widgets,s^3 widgets include it.

9.good loud speaker for movies and mp3...HD dolby is a must,AMOLED,pane etc

Nokia N8, by any means, is a mixed story, good in parts, lagging in other aspects. While cmera is good, OS is a disapointment. So is social media part of the phone. If Nokia is planning like this, definitely it will succumb to much better players like Samsung. http://www.priceofmobiles.com/
