AnonD-196068, 31 Aug 2016It's clear enough for 3 phone manufacturers to stop selling... moreexactly... if they prove that it has nothing to do with wrong manipulation or anything stating that any Note7 can blow up then hell no ppl won't buy it, that's what i meant with having all the facts right... just remember that there were cases where phones have blown up and they were dismissed (sort of) and ppl still bought those phones... i just hope they investigate all they can to be well informed
oh and the thing about bashing i meant the other comments below (u can read a lot of them) so no offense ;)

AnonD-551566, 31 Aug 2016well it doesn't matter the OS if it has a chance of explodi... moreIt's clear enough for 3 phone manufacturers to stop selling it or is that not clear enough for you? By the way a British newspaper and Phone Arena are also stating it but I suppose they are just haters too! I would have thought the reason I will wait for the OS upgrade is obvious. Hopefully by then all the problems will have been resolved as it is estimated to be up to 2 months away. Obviously it wasn't. You can purchase a phone that might blow up if you like but I won't until they are sure the issue is confirmed to be fixed or non-existent. Personally I am not willing to take that chance. Hopefully I will be proved over cautious but basic safety has to be the first concern of any electrical device no matter who produces it.

Yea I'd imagine it has to do with the Cable Specs, there was some concern over Faster Charging on the USB Type C

don't get me wrong, wether u buy it or not it's ur choice, but the issue is that it's not clear why it exploded (allegedly) so at least ppl (not u specifically) should wait before bashing and calling names when they don't have the true facts

Such suck product of Note 7.
Better dump this device into the trash.
I recommend buying HTC 10 or Motorola for a problem free experience.

There were similar reports from both India and China almost a week ago. Everything I am seeing and hearing about this device suggests it was rushed to market before it was truly ready. I won't be looking to even potentially purchase it before its Nougart upgrade now.

If the explosion is due to type-c cable then I suspect it would be specific to Exynos variant of the phone
