Htc started it all, from the M7 era, then now, most of the cellphone companies are just copying what Htc does with their phones, thinking people are now judging and accusing Htc to be a copy-cat...?!?

This does look like an underpowered iPhone but remember the M7 ! that phone made every manufacturer sit up and reevaluate just what a smartphone can be.
There are rumours of a HTC A10 later this year, I just hope it's a high end stand out midranger.

Helio P10? with that GPU? I don't think that's a good one The P10 is good but need a good GPU so it can run good and without lag.

the Meizu MX6 and Pro 6 are doing the iPhone look better with much better specs than this too. All Meizu needs to do is move the camera into the corner.

Please do not buy htc phones. They lag like crazy and lie to you about updates. They have terrible updates and this phone just looks ugly.

Absolutely no complaints. We use to have phones with the great S 4 chip. That was great. This is awesome and it handles several screens of multitasking. All a matter of respective.aside from that. It's one of thee most beautiful handsets available.

now on the topic... i think they felt the pressure to come up with a fast twist since the A9 didn't sell as much as they expected, dunno how welcome will this be but looks sort of cool ;)
