Actually, the Helio P10 is an upgrade from the crappy Snapdragon 617... It is better in every aspect, I don't get it why some people consider it a downgrade, but it's not like I give a fck as the phone still remains a piece of shit if it gets priced similarly to the original A9

I'm a HTC maniac, but I'm starting to lose faith:
1. The AMOLED was the best thing to have, why replace it?
2. The battery needs a serious upgrade, is this one 3000mAh, as rumored?
3. OIS is also lost.
I hope HTC is reading these reviews, because if they keep this up, they will lose even their most trusted fans..

Thanks, that was a decent mature reply. i own 3 A9 for our business and coulnt be happier. Worth every cent. I deliberated over a new phone for 3months and almost bought iphone 6as i loved the feel of the body even though all my friends keep having to recharge, i liked it. i thought to myself, if only i could get one with the freedom of android that felt the same from a company also known for quality. Bang, woke up to an A9. wow, what a stunning device and high mid range. very zappy and beautiful.
whilst i was hoping for an even higher rating A9S unit i agree and can see why they kept something very similar for lower price but maintaining what is arguably one of the best looking, best feeling units in hand out of many devices.
So ill keep these gorgeous things for now.😃

How can a company mess up their mid range flagship?
Well, Clearly, HTC can! They've just downgraded everything they could in the A9s...
Nice job.
Honestly, all they had to do is: upgrade the chipset, increase battery a little bit, improvements to camera and design and run 6.0 out of the box and lower the price to a reasonable amount.

Htc try hard to mix and match the chipset and design in order to clear out old stock.. & again an overpriced htc with mediatek chipset.. they using 'one' brand to sell the mediatek chip at higher price!

Disappointed about the downgrade n it become a low ranger. Will be a laughing stock. A very huge mistake from HTC.
