"Seinheisser Orpheus" thats a real thing. Just checked Seinheisser site and Seinheisser Orpheus 2 cost "just" 59000 US Dollars.. Now that's a audiophile price

nobody is asking you all to buy it - its for pure audiophiles !! but yes its expensive for common people. Think about the change Sony is bringing; most mobiles companies will start having 24 bit audio processing. it will change the way you listen to music!! But, i dont have words to people who still thinks low bit rate MP3 is the best thing they ever heard!! every company brings out great products!! Sony just made the greatest. Lets see which company can beat that. If you havent tried these, then you have no idea how they sounds like!!

Spotting on the headphone;
Have anyone compare it to Audeze? let's say LCD-4?
Will this set give us "warm" sounding? As Asian products tend to give "bright" one.
I'm investing for targeting LCD-4 on let's say 5 years.

Gold don't corrodes or uses any of its properties regardless of environment, but copper do, some presume best of both worlds

Now what would be interesting it's seems these Walkman can't stream , would that turn off the wealthy non audiophile market , there is no WiFi capability

imparanoic, 01 Sep 2016I own nw-zx100 (cost usd700, Little brother to this model) ... moreI don't doubt it at all. The players are in a league of their own, literally better than many gear of ~10x their size, if not more. Wish I could afford one.
I just point at the PR c*** they had to add to the device's page, that is really dubious if not downright physically/mathematically wrong or impossible (like upscaling audio and gold coating to reduce interference - on a full copper chassis). Can't blame them tho, the device is targeted to audiophiles - known to believe in stuff like the CD lathe cutter thingy I showed.
The specs of the device alone should be more than enough to make it sell, wish I could get my hands on one (the non gold one is "enough" for me)
