This saddens me... First Lg G4 had its faulty connector boot loop issue... 600euro flagship... And now this... 850euro flagship has battery issues... Cant relly be secure with anything...
Yeah... Best not to buy anything the first year and wait for 50% price drop and proper reviews...
Using G4 with zerolemon battery... No boot loop (yet)

Make a Note 4 Reborn
Sd 820, 6GB ram, 32GB rom, External Memory support, removable batery.
Add 4 heatpipe like in s7 and some exhaust.
Dont bother with water resistand and slim unibody... since user will use case for their phone...
Rest spec it up to you
Go ahead with silm inibody war with Galaxy S lineup
And let Note Lineup be the truly monster
And lets see which one its better at giving you money

Alien , 01 Sep 2016Xaxaxa! That's Sammy quality folks.
If you want true quali... moreare you kidding?? sony makes the worst glass panels..they don't use gorilla glass or any other comparable material..its just a tempered glass with a plastic sheet on top..thats not tech..a belt buckle fell on my z1 and broke it..my s7 edge on the other hand fell from my table and thers'e nary a scratch..sony makes awesome playstations..and DSLRs..thats it, their phone tech is miserable..the brought out a 4k phone, and the obvious thing to do was to make the best ever VR for mobiles, but did they do it??
and samsung is no better..the quality control is so bad
batteries have always been problematic..and samsung has had many problems in the past too..it makes me wonder, why the hell are we paying premium for flagships if enough RnD has not been done on them?? maybe its zenfone time again

True... and also true that if you push production(workers and machines also) which is common practise, you will get greater quantity. At the expense of guess... Quality.
Trust me,dont want to bash anyone, but from my personal(and profesional) expirience I will never buy Mercedes Benz C-class ;)

The scratch threads on Android Central forum didn't really worry me and I took it like a man because I don't search for scratches. I go on XDA forum and about 80% in a poll are saying they don't have scratches. Forums and comment sections are a breeding ground for OCD paranoia. But a recall like this is really proving Samsung didn't have much quality control on this phone. What a shame. I guess instead of throwing away $900+ on a fragile phone with a faulty battery, I will spend my money on both an Xbox One S AND PS4 slim which is still $100 cheaper than this fragile phone.
Seems like these flagships truly are a waste of money. My $30 Lumia 640 and Moto E2 4G which both had a screen protector pre-installed are much more durable than this. These are AT&T branded, sim unlocked, and already dropped at least once from bed level. Zero flaws between them. Samsung better take a lesson from Nokia and Motorola on excellent quality and value. I didn't have to spend nearly a $1000 for them each. About $70 combined tax included and never have to get worried if either got broken or stolen.
Each and every day, I lose interest in the Note7 which I still think is the best phone because it has 64gb INTERNAL. Something I need when downloading from Pirate Bay with TV series at over 30gb. Americans don't have the S7 edge at 64gb. Note7 was really my ONLY CHOICE because I am not going to buy a lame iPhone 7, a Nexus, OnePlus 3, Mi 5, or any other phone without sd slot and no VR. While Note7 seems the BEST FOR ME, it doesn't seem it can last long without seeing its glaring flaws.
So better to avoid this phone and get both smaller versions of the Xbox One and PS4. I can get a ZTE Zmax 2 from Best Buy for $60 as a suitable replacement. That at least has a removable battery which doesn't explode and isn't prone to scratches. Note8 better correct this stuff next year and give us 4K for sharper viewing VR.
