Google’s Nexus smartphone successors might be called Pixel and Pixel XL

More rumors point to Google doing away with the "Nexus" brand for its unreleased Marlin and Sailfish smartphones.

I will choose the name Nexus over the Pixel... Anytime, anyday... the Nexus Brand is very elegant and classy. Pixel? it sounds like a toys..

    pixel probably just a code name as alcatel trademarked pixel already

      Nexus or Google phone or Pixel/Pixel XL...just make sure it has the right specs, a Huge battery, good camera, good sound/speakers and minimal bezels(74+% stb ratio).
      Let's see what u got..hope u make my choice for a phone easier.

                  I think the 'Nexus' moniker is pretty nice. Pixel, on the other hand, not so much. Just my two cents.
