Anonymous, 02 Sep 2016How do you explain the Xperia ZR?Yuo're not reading deep enough... I'll spell it out for you: I-F Y-O-U R-E-P-L-A-C-E T-H-E B-A-T-T-E-R-Y O-N T-H-E N-O-T-E-7 Y-O-U-R W-A-T-E-R-P-R-O-O-F-I-N-G W-I-L-L N-O-T W-O-R-K A-N-Y-M-O-R-E. No one mentioned that it was impossible to have a waterproof phone with a removable battery. Christ, the S5 had both as someone mentioned.

When you rushed a product to market to beat iPhone launches you are going to have issue. No SD821/823, no Android N, exploding battery, plastic screen, etc.

Fizzy, 02 Sep 2016Ive only seen one photo of the phone completely burnt and t... moreAs tou already know the WHOLE phone has to be replaced due to it having a NON user replaceable battery { which is the waterproofing aspect}
Just listened to the BBC NEWS at 13.00 BST and in South Korea you can or will be able take it into store and they can run a test to detect if it does have a faulty battery but in the main ALL NOTE 7 will be replaced
So this is ME if it hasn't exploded and it explodes when recharged then likely to be OK,
BUT I accept that I don't know how long other users had their phones and whether or not say it was an issue with say the overcharge protector,
If it is the overcharge protector then above being ok is wrong as the battery ONLY explodes when overcharged but again this paragraph is pure speculation
The FAULT rate from reported so far is 24 per one million shipped
NOTE 1 this is unique not on the S7 Edge etc, also they ask a person at the IFA...
Explosions is always the due battery so the least expensive component is the Achhiles heel
