Samsung issues official statement on Galaxy Note7 battery fiasco

The delay in the device's shipments due to the fiasco has reportedly "knocked $7 billion off" Samsung's market value.

If a battery bl... moreIt is much simple to issue a new battery with new serial number to the end users rather than recall back all their affected mobile phone. This will make a big different on logistic support to a company like Samsung.

                                      When you rushed a product to market to beat iPhone launches you are going to have issue. No SD821/823, no Android N, exploding battery, plastic screen, etc.

                                        Just listened to the BBC NEWS at 13.00 BST and in South Korea you can or will be able take it into store and they can run a test to detect if it does have a faulty battery but in the main ALL NOTE 7 will be replaced

                                        So this is ME if it hasn't exploded and it explodes when recharged then likely to be OK,
                                        BUT I accept that I don't know how long other users had their phones and whether or not say it was an issue with say the overcharge protector,
                                        If it is the overcharge protector then above being ok is wrong as the battery ONLY explodes when overcharged but again this paragraph is pure speculation

                                        The FAULT rate from reported so far is 24 per one million shipped

                                        NOTE 1 this is unique not on the S7 Edge etc, also they ask a person at the IFA...
                                        Explosions is always the due battery so the least expensive component is the Achhiles heel
