May be those cheap LED display by other company (such as LG G Flex had that burn in issue), but not Samsung's. My phone display stays on continuously for 6-7 hours when I drive for uber. But again, the content is changing all the time, sometimes its the uber app, most of the time Google maps navigation. On my LG G Watch R, I saw those burn in marks for 'hours' to stay on for a while even after turning the watch off. Thats the reason, Samsung moves their "Always on display" on S6/S7 time to time, to prevent burn in issue.

shame on Sammy ...or samesung .. how come you sell old devices in 2016-2017 .... problem is not the hardware because a s4 or a note 3 are still relevant I mean good specs no lags on then cause have decent hardware but if we talk about sofeware these devices are lollipop they didn't get marshmallow either I guess samesung got a large stock that could not put in black market so decided to sell them at a lower price .... but ill tell you something ill pick s4 over any galaxy A garbage any day.

1ns0mniac, 04 Sep 2016Its a lie. May be other company's LED display, not Samsung'... more6-8 hours onscreen? How about navigation? I quite often go for 10 hour without any break on the road. I know about people how suffered from burning out issue due to the long navigating.

One example is mediatek, they never release the complete specs of their chips. there are a lot of companies who behave like that cr@p mediatek.
"Fully Open Source Phones" is just a theory, without real existence. sure..those clever hackers can make you a custom driver (which is buggy and unstable compared to the closed source driver).

It became more and more restricted. Not to mention that horrible Touchwiz bleah!
Many of us, the tech guys and girls, root our phones form day one. If you don't root your phone, why don't you just buy a crapple then? You pay so much to have a restricted phone and use it only as a guest instead of a administrator which is so silly and pointless.
Again, Sammy is just an ICrap with Android on it + BLOATWARE + useless features.
Sony on the other hand offers on their website official bootloader unlocking, free of charge.
Having the possibility of making your very own ROM, changing the DPI resolution, overlooking the processor, changing fonts and a LOT more will turn your phone completely and make it so much better.

refurbished samsung phones may not receive updates like android nouget 7.0 or even marshmellow 6.0.. like galaxy 4 etc .. any refurbished phone older than 2yrs from lauch date NO more systems updates after 2yrs cutoff limit .. SAMSUNG PLEASE CLARIFY ..
