Burn-in issue will happen only the when the display is lit for prolonged period of time (about 6-8 hours). You don't keep your display on for that long, do you? Even if you do, content of the display is changing. I don't see any reason for burn-in. I use Samsung phones only because of there display & camera. My 2 year old Note 4 display is same as day ONE. My mom's Galaxy S2 is still running excellent. BUT, I saw burn-in issue in my "LG Watch R", cause I kept the display on all the time. In my "Samsung Gear S2 Classic", there is no burn-in problems, my watch display stays on all the time from 9AM to 6/7PM.

Even if it was the S4 which was used for only a year and owner-less for a few years, it is still practically a new phone; new old-model. There are many old flagship model that is still new out there. A customer bought an S4 in 2013, returned it after a year, no owner for 3 years, got refurbished and sells again. If you still don't get the concept I give up explaining to you.

Samsung now selling used phones? That's divine judgment on them. I know shops in my neighborhood that does that, maybe they a partnered with samsung.
You see making low quality phones and internet bombing/bashing other products is no profitable. Now how do they bash and coax people into buying used phones.
And before any ignoramus starts the will of samsung on my post please check the prices of these used items, it's absolute ripoff.
Trying to make the profit of Note 7 for S4, 5, etc.

Galaxy S5 is the only phone not affected by screen burns because it uses a specific amoled technology... S4 S6 and S7 and A series are well concerned. don't buy them !
