So many disappointed customers were returning their smartphones after just a few days that Samsung has a huge stockpile of used phones - now they found a way to sell them :D

AnonD-375149, 03 Sep 2016Very true, the amoled screens has 2 year life span and afte... moreMaybe the first or the second generation of Samsung S phones had that. AMOLED displays have come a long way. I heard even Apple might be transitioning over to OLED displays.

AnonD-375149, 03 Sep 2016Very true, the amoled screens has 2 year life span and afte... moreI really don't get this . Myself and a lot of people around me have been using samsung phones for years. We never encountered any 'burn?' marks. I would buy Samsung anyday. Just love their screen. Note5 user here

Julliard, 03 Sep 2016Those phone actually come from Samsung's One Year Upgrade P... moreNot so old? How old is the galaxy s4? Even their software support already ended.

Vaio Agent, 03 Sep 2016those phones confirm collected from rubbish binThose phone actually come from Samsung's One Year Upgrade Program. Customer who had used their phone and upgrade after a year returned their not-so-old phone and get the latest model. Its not a faulty devices that get returned or anything like that. Refurbished here means that the product contain defect like scratches or others, then these electronics or items are repaired again under full quality check with best industrial standards and sold again. Software side of the phone also get a factory refresh as if it was never used. All old data wipe out and impossible to recover even if you think you are a great hacker. So, no worries in getting these practically new phones. Some are probably only been used for a few days and got returned. Especially the latest model like S6 and S6 Edge.

Nice move by Samsung. Please start this in India too.

Well, actually i dont see any problem, since it has 1 year warranty anyways. And you pay a lot less for it. So why not. People will really buy this.

So they are selling already sold phone again - clever idea.

                            Cool.

Even refurbished older devices are more expensive than new budget flagships.

In one month samsung will sell refurbished Note 7 :))) No one will ever trust again Note 7 as a new product, it always fly around a doubt it can be one of that Note 7 with dangerous battery. Note 7 is already dead or Samsung must drop the price dramatically. Such battery scandal destroyed Note 7 image for good, even at 2nd :)))

Give me refurbished Note 7. Best deal I think because the most of them never have a preowner.
