Now they put a warning, and suddenly people are complaining there's a warning? Lol, you haters will never be happy, so keep on hating. In the mean time, millions of people are enjoying. I know which one I would rather be doing.

Buy nice looking device with cool color/finish...
But if you don't want to scratch it, put it in ugly case.
First companies always brag about finish/color or thickness, and then they "suggest" to use big ugly cases to protect it...

and also the phone scratches from the first days = you must buy a case.Next year maybe the screen will get out of the phone easy and people will be obligated to buy special apple "iScreen protectors"

Yes, I remember the 3GS and the chrome edge that got scratches when I put it in a soft TPU case and took it out again. I think it was so bad that the phone would get scratched against your face if you forgot to shave before using the phone.

everyone will chose what is good for him, Apple is a great product when it come to IPhone, they always make sure they deliver a great product, I was an apple fan however they are always late to deliver the latest technologie, today I am more into Android ( Samsung Note or Nexus line up) I respect everyone choice, Galaxy note 7 is the best phone or Phablet , when it come to the batterie issue, I am not sure if we should make a huge story about it, I own 2 note 7 and been contacted for a replacement however until now we did not see any behavior or heating while charging . we heard in the past iPhone exploded, what is very important that Samsung did step out and offer a full replacement or refund, if I do remember iPhone 4 with the death signal Apple did only offer a case but this never fixed the phone signal issue and Apple never replaced or offer a full refund to their customer, I believe smartphone today is not only brand because Huawei showed us they are capable to produce great product, we all love gadget and everyone will buy what suite his need.
