Its same like drugs they wash your brain and they be happy you bought your crap.

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2016This happens because of corporate greed and capitalism. If you Google exploding iPhones, you will find a few photos and such, this has happened before. It's unlikely to be greed, Samsung and any other company know full well the huge costs with something like this. If an exploding phone caused a mass casualty situation, such as in an aircraft, that would be the end of the company due to the compensation. Research how much the unreliable poorly designed PowerBook 5300ce (I had one, awful machine!) cost Apple in warranty repairs in the 1990s: $1billion! That was a LOT of money then.

From those "official" 35 cases, a lot more happen, and they still happening

Shaun (-_-), 09 Sep 2016Does people charge phone on airplane? Some people just sit ... morein effect they will probably swap in new batteries do a system wipe and resell them as new..or refurbished..as they do have those selling around..

one question?? is the adhesive being used to seal the phone conductive?

For some reason, Samsung has made people forgot about the Snapdragon 810 (which I agree the issue actually is not much of just a common problem). So now we all know that a non-properly made lithium batteries are more dangerous than just a mobile processor which can generate more heat than it should.

The testing process should be blamed, looks like the phone is launched in hurry.
New iphone 7 is up and its bad timing for samsung now for sure!!

Does people charge phone on airplane? Some people just sit and wait for one misfortune about others just to put them down. The rider with the IPhone that explode in his pocket and burn his leg, why no one riding on that? Now none of these phone company except Sony made their own battery so why talk about this incident as if it's the phone itself have the issues. At least they made a recall unlike Apple with their easily bend phone, the iPhone 4 I think which if you hold it without a case it loose signal because they place the antenna in the metal sides. Samsung, you should have stick with your removable battery. You would be issuing battery now and not recall

Samsung has to take some time to recover. Especially Note7 with kaboom feature.

The best thing they could do now is to get those replacement units out ASAP. Then they can go to a bar and drink some beer until all of this blows over.

The only thing standing between you and your goal is the bullshit story you keep telling yourself as to why you can't achieve it, so It is better to offer no excuse than a bad one.
