But you are lying, it came out on March 15 2010. For your information and to correct you, because you did not have this phone. You're just pretending and wishing you have it...

Admittedly I've never even held the Galaxy S phone but from past experiences with Samsung I find it hard to trust them again. As you have first hand experience I cannot argue with you when you say it's a great phone.

                    ....Purchased since January 2010, and almost holding a piece of crap for nearly a year! It is laggy and outdated! SE supposedly has the capacity and capability to release updates more frequent than other makers! SE should consider restructuring their software development division. Furthermore, I am totally disappointed with SE Customer Service. Will never purchase any SE which is so-called high-end and overly priced. We can get better phone with the price we paid..........

                      [deleted post]There has been much doom and gloom surrounding Sony Ericsson over the last few months, not only from frustrated Xperia X10 owners waiting on their promised Android update but also from the wider blog community. Just earlier this week, Gizmodo questioned how long the company will exist for.
                      The latest market share statistics also do not make for pretty reading, well at least on the face of it. Sony Ericsson’s overall mobile phone shipment ranking fell from fourth in Q1 2010 to sixth place in Q2 according to iSuppli. This is quite an important milestone as it is the first time Sony Ericsson has ranked outside the top 5 global brands in three years.
                      This change in strategy from low-margin, high volume phones to higher margin smartphones also led to a near doubling in gross margin from 12 percent in Q2 2009 to 28 percent this year. This trend continued into the third quarter with the gross margin hitting 30 percent and smartphones now compromising more than 50% of total sales. Sony Ericsson is likely to continue this strategy as they look to launch the next Android flagship by the end of the year. The real question is how many existing Xperia customers will be willing to give Sony Ericsson another chance.

                                    It's obvious Android 2.1 is not the latest, but by saying you feel dated is like laughing at those with X10 because they're not so 'dated'. People are bound to take offense to that. Especially now when the one's who are gearing for this update at this point in time are X10 fanboys.

                                    Perhaps just wrong place wrong time?

                                    Peace =)

                                      [deleted post]For God sake, I cannot comment about my own experience or feeling because others think I'm bashing their phones.

                                      Let me be clear, I just said that I feel that Android 2.1 is outdated and my comment was related to a Galaxy S because that's the one I own, of course the same feeling applies to the X10 cause it's an Android!!! I don't need to own a SE X10 to say something about the operative system.

                                      Believe me, the Galaxy S is far from perfect that's something I know since the first day I turned it on and you can say whatever you want about it, that doesn't bother me at all... Samsung doesn't pay my bills.

                                      We're all Android users, let's live in peace!
