"The results are in, and 3 out of 5 people are going the former route - 63%, to be precise." Haha good know that there are still sensible people out there, the pros significantly outweigh the cons.

[deleted post]Yeah, its so stupid. First his argument is wrong about exploding Iphones, because this is the 1st time such an event forced a no usage control warning in airplanes and all phones and brands had experiences with exploding batteries or components. About Huawei, well they can prove to be excellent (Huawei Nexus 6P, Huawei Watch) but sometimes they use such weak gpus/cpus? its kind of underwhelming.

Choeneqck, 11 Sep 2016Im so proud of samsung for acting so fast! Unlike in other ... moreExactly. Samsung staff super friendly. I returned my Note7 and they explained calmly how the whole process is going to be. New Notes arriving soon. It is pretty quick. No hussle bothersome or cumbersome process. I can't think of getting any other phone than a Note7. It just simply the best out there right now. Of course I will change it again next year for S8 if that one provide good stuff or maybe stick with the one year upgrade program and get a Note8 next year.

Alacie, 11 Sep 2016I guess some people dun mind the risk of having no fingers ... moreYou're risking that with absolutely every phone you're holding, specifically especially with those that have Li-Ion batteries, and guess what? That's the vast majority of smartphones on the market. Considering how many were sold and how many exploded, you have a higher chance of choking your own saliva than losing your fingers. Even much greater chance to get in a car crash every single time you sit down in a car, but people still drive cars. What's more, you're only aware of Note 7 at the moment because it's all over the news. There have been many more explosions from one model in the past, they just weren't on the news on such a scale.

AnonD-132310, 11 Sep 2016AND..... although Note series maybe not the first to provid... moreTrue. I feel that there is no contest between Note 7 and other devices including that overhyped crap iphone. Samsung Note series is in a league of its own. Nothing can beat it in terms of Productivity/Features. Perfectly suited for hardcore users like us.

S-Pen... Phablet are so many nowadays even Apple made one.. but That's just ordinary phablet with big display. And still, people buying Note because of it's S-Pen.... Note the bessttt....

AnonD-504676, 11 Sep 2016What's your definition of so called "best"? In my opinion,... moreIt objectively has the best camera and the best display with one of the best processors out there. And you can't beat what you can do with a note 7 in terms of productivity, period. Additionally, the replacement notes are no longer faulty. In fact, only a tiny percentage has that risk. But any decent oem would indeed prioritize safety of their customers so the recall was the right thing to do.

The v20 and htc 10 are great phones no doubt, but overall, neither can hold a candle to the note 7. That's all there is to it.

I have my note 7 almost a month by now. the thing is, i never use a charger provided in the box since day one i bought it. its still unused until now. I use third party charger that i bought for my previous s7 edge. and the adapter has dual usb so i recharge my note7 and my iphone 6s at the same time. sometimes I play with my note7 while charging. playing games like coc or nfs, streaming youtube or listening some musics. my note 7 not even getting hot.. after hearing exploding news spreading over the world, i am a bit scared bout it. but my note 7 does'nt show any sign to explode or not even getting warm at all while it being recharge. so i just go on and using my third party charger to power it up.. thank god maybe i had the normal one or the best one.. now i am waiting for iPhone 7 to be mate with my beauty note7....

This stupid poll has one good point though!
It shows that except of the die hard ifans, everybody support Samsung and Note7. Even ppl that are other Android Brands' fans
All the bashing media were hoping ppl will start hating Samsung and Note7, and go for iPhone7. But sorry.
We could expect even more ppl to buy Note7 now. Just watch.

Yes, Samsung had bad luck with the battery supplier this time, but Note7 is really the best and the most beautiful phone on the Planet. As soon as the battery problem is solved, Note7 will reign.
So far Apple had most exploding phones, with no special reason. Right?
