I don't own a Xiaomi phone myself (due to its lack of availability) but I've heard good things from people that do especially about the UI. Take that with a grain of salt if you will lol

it boils downs to just to specs, as proven by gsmarena with one plus 3 6gb ( they had a decent ui with cyangenmod, but lost it) 6gb was proven to be slower than galaxy s6 with 4gb
the unique features of sony which attracts me ( every phone has advantages and disadvantages) such as ps4 dual shock controller support, ps4 remote play, cec compatibility with mhl via hdmi ( allows you to use tv/amp remote to control the entire phone), ldac high resolution wireless audio ( 3 times higher than standard bluetooth), unique material - ceramic like metal called alkaloid

When it comes to specs they're light-years ahead of Slowny and from what I hear their MIUI isn't so bad either compared to other Chinese ROMs. And cloud storage is a viable option for those who have access to fast 3G/4G LTE speed networks, I have no problem with reliability or constant data use, in fact my plan encourages it by providing free streaming for certain media apps like Spotify.

also xiaomi is comparable to zte, one plus, huiwei, not really comparable to Sony
That's like comparing a marantz hifi to a sanyo or matsui hifi

Ok I'm just going to assume that NOBODY in the comment section can read. This is not the next Z compact flagship phone! Sony and gsmarena ( in their article when it was released ) clearly said this is a mini version of the new XZ. It's not the "new Z5 compact"! Shut up about this already...

This compact from Sony is no longer a true flagship with the latest hardware with a smaller screen, so I am no longer interested!
