AnonD-454153, 13 Sep 20161960 mAh ahahahhahahha what a joke U must be an android user having huge 4000mah battery which needs charging at least two times a day right. I don't understand why these android users waste their time commenting here. Apple is not about numbers its about performance. Get that right.

I own a galaxy s7 edge (since day one it was launched). No flame or explosion so far :))
Anyway, battery is very good and it lasts one entire day whatever you do to it - I never charge the phone during the day.
As far as I know, the battery on the iphone 6s is very good also (Some friends have it and they don't complain) --> Apparently, in GSM arena battery tests the S7 edge last much longer than the iphone but I don't know if I should believe these tests or not.
Fast charging - it's not important IMHO --> I charge the phone only during the night and I actually deactivated this function so the battery would last longer in time.

Underwater proof --> This is something that all of us will use when going in holiday on the sea side (those 10 days / year is very very useful)

Overall, I think this new Iphone is a very appealing phone with dual camera, good processor power, lightning port, ... The only drawbacks are the huge bezels especially on the "plus" variant (hence it was launched in the black variant so you can't actually see them) and in general the screen visibility on i phones which is much lower in sunlight than samsung.

The major drawback on samsung are the constant updates: You buy the phone and it is updating something each day. Tons of applications that are getting updated. The performance is not affected because the processor is very fast but the battery life is. Considering this, at intervals of about 6 month you need to do a "factory reset" so you take the phone back in the state where the battery lasts like it was new.

I don't know if this is the same with apple but to me it's very annoying. I know, I can deactivate updates ...

AnonD-454153, 13 Sep 20161960 mAh ahahahhahahha what a joke No 1960mAh is more than enough when the software is optimized to the system the way Apple do.I dont use an Iphone, but its simply because the Android system demands ekstreme levels of battery the levels on mAh has skyrocket the way it has.Its Apple that are on the right way,and I buy an Iphone either in 14 days,or when the S/pro version come.

Mary Johana , 12 Sep 2016Low mAh but at least these won't explode like Samsung phones. As if iPhone batteries never exploded. EVERY SINGLE BATTERY IN THE WORLD can explode. ANY. 100%. And iPhone batteries already exploded before. Samsung batteries too. This is not new, but people like you that makes early judgment before even considering facts just jumps to conclusions. You may like iPhones, that's ok. But really, this is a minor flaw, since
1: A major recall has already been applied.
2: 0.01% (or less) batteries will explode.
3: Out of 1.5M of Note 7, there is (a lot) less than an hundred that blew up.

Consider facts before making a judgement.
