Samsung messed up super bad and gave the round to iPhone. Samsung fanboys must be squirming given that Apple released a phone that can scratch, and they can't say a damn thing about it lol.

lol Samsung is useless. There's absolutely NO reason to stick to them. So many better products out there, better brands, better UI's, and WAY better quality.

So far i've seen news about Note 7, S7 edge, and (today) S7: "The SUN: Samsung S7 smartphone overheated and then EXPLODED in teacher’s hands in the middle of busy cafe".

                All have NON-REMOVABLE batteries.

Using programmed obsolesce in a form of the non-removable batteries must be made illegal. With the current state of technology, it is perfectly possible to design a device so that it would have a removable, and user replaceable, battery.

                    what a crap.
battery issues has nothing to do with it they changes the supplier and it's resolved

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2016And to think we were all told we were being cynical or hate... moreYou were not proved right.....there is this thing called time....as time passes things can happen and if the devices are still in field the number will grow. I suspect that the figure they said was correct at that time.....it has increased since that point and will continue to increase until all products are our of field.

So your idea that the number when they announced it as being rubbish is just as rubbish as your statement, hence, the 'over 70' point could now be over 75 or over 85.

Always remember time when anybody makes a statistic......it is a statistic to the point in time only.

I don't want to sound like broken record here but if the battery was user replaceable this would have been almost a non-issue. Samsung tried to outsmart themselves by becoming one with the iPhones and those exploding Notes are just one of the consequences. I'll be holding on to my S5 as long as it's possible and then just switch brands, I suppose.

Karma for bendgate. That was actually started by Samsung, which wasn't even true, in the 1st place since unboxtherapy easily bent the phone, apple haters used that as an excuse to make detractors, Samsung capitalized on it with Bendgate. Karma at its finest, shortly after "Gapgate" came out, next year is was pengate were the pens the get stuck and now its explodegate.

                                    karma.
