You know what, there's already an app in playstore that can check if your Note7 is defective.
Strangely enough, I can install it on my Note 4 and said my phone is defective..
              =_=

Sorry Samsung but that is a pathetic link.

It is only applicable to Note 7 phones brought in Hong Kong / Macau.

How about an international link so any Note 7 owner can check their device.

It was kinda barely acceptable with Note 7, but then the guy got his pants melted by S7, which is another one with the dodgy battery. Definitely not a good year for Samsung, they will lose a lot of customers.

somebody u dont know, 13 Sep 2016its a big loss to samsung with all this recall and all ... ... moreYou have very little knowledge about what's going on currently in the mobile world. Samsung actually counts losses since S6\S6 Edge release, and looks like this will continue this year too. They are one of the few companies, that are on decreased revenue (even if their phone sold well), while most of the companies you've mentioned have increased their sales over the last few years. Huawei is a mid-ranger? Only close minded people would say that. Huawei is catching up to Apple very quickly, they've had 2 years straight successful releases, every single one of them. Next time you'll be spitting the venom, make sure you can back it up with the facts.

Argue that it's a bad product all you want, that doesn't even relate to what I'm talking about, what I'm impressed with is Samsung making a conscious effort to amend a mistake and save face.
